Other Details to Note
We live in a smaller unit on the property completely separate from the Airbnb log home. You may occasionally see us come and go, but we are often traveling. Regardless of our physical presence, we are always available via messaging for answering any of your questions. We have one dog who is on the property with us when we are. Willow is a super friendly, fun, and well behaved german shepherd. She love's to greet and interact with guests for those so inclined and great with kids!

This cabin was the best winter getaway imaginable! Even with a delayed trip and a rental car accident -Atly and Jillian went above and beyond to bring little bits of sunshine to difficult moments. We loved the fire they had started to welcome us from a long journey. The cabin was beautiful, both inside and out! The location was perfect. It was about 20 mins from all of the activities we planned. It was a cozy comfort in freezing weather! Truly, we could not have asked for better hosts nor a better home to spend time together.

We LOVED our stay at the Moose Mountain Cabin! It was clean, comfortable, cozy and has all the amenities we needed. We’ve stayed in a few airbnbs in Fairbanks and this one is our new official favorite! The hosts are wonderful, friendly and great communication. If we find ourselves in Fairbanks again we will be checking to see if this place is available first.

Moose Mountain Cabin was wonderful. My main concern in booking was location-we were unfamiliar with the area and not at all skilled at driving in the snow. The location turned out to be perfect. Far enough out to do all of the activities we were interested in- we even saw the aurora just down the road from the cabin!! The location was also close enough to get into Fairbanks for all of the great restaurants.
But don’t worry, if you want to cook-the cabin is fully stocked. It was probably the most well stocked Airbnb we have ever stayed in.
The wood stove made the place cozy and was perfect in the cold weather! Ya’ll it was in the negatives the whole time we were there!
If you’re here thinking about booking the cabin, book it. You will be delighted!

Wonderful retreat in the Alaska wilderness. We went for the northern lights, which didn’t show up, but we still had a wonderful long weekend in the cabin. Our hosts were amazing, provided lots of local recommendations, and even let us borrow their sled for our daughter to enjoy. Only about 15 minutes from downtown Fairbanks (even on snow packed roads). The cabin was amazingly cozy, especially with the wood burning stove going (ample provided firewood).
Hope we get an opportunity to visit in the summer!

So Beautiful! Moose Mountain Cabin was perfect! The layout of the cabin is great! It seems so spacious and the loft is great for reading a book or just hanging out. The beds were super comfortable. We liked that there were windows in the bedrooms. The kitchen is very well stocked! All the spices, herbs you could need along with parchment paper, tinfoil and plastic wrap. Great assortment of cooking and baking essentials. We LOVED the wood stove it kept the cabin so cozy even though it was -20 or less. Will definitely rent this again.

One of the best places we’ve ever stayed - incredibly clean, cozy, and comfortable space. Beautiful surroundings, outside of town but not too isolated. We did a winter trip to Fairbanks, and if you’re doing that you’ll definitely want 4WD for the neighborhood and driveway. We were able to see aurora from the deck (faintly, but it was there) between snow storms, and there are quite a few fun winter activities to do nearby. The hosts are very friendly and helpful - they live right nearby, which came in handy for the snowy Alaskan environment. They also provided tons of local recommendations and info while also completely respecting privacy. Can’t say enough positive things about the cabin and the hosts

Our family of five stayed at Moose Mountain Cabin for a long weekend and it was everything we hoped for.
A true log cabin with a cozy wood stove for that authentic Alaska experience but with all the luxury and comfort you could want. Beautifully decorated, fully stocked kitchen, and Atly & Jilian even left local eggs and honey as a welcome touch. The location is perfect, private and surrounded by nature, yet close enough to town for easy access to activities.
We went snow machining, ice fishing, and dog sledding with a local musher. We were also treated to Aurora overhead two nights and drove up to Cleary Summit on quieter nights for views looking north.
We’re already planning a return trip in a different season. Moose Mountain Cabin is truly a dreamy place.

The cabin is beautiful and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable, lots of extra pillows and linens available and bathrooms well stocked with nice towels. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, including utensils, seasonings, spices, etc....we even used the outdoor BBQ (despite the cold!!) The woodburning stove provided amazing heat. The fresh eggs and honey were a very sweet welcome gift! Hosts were very responsive and very willing to help with anything we needed. No complaints. Only disappointed that we didn't see more of the Northern Lights, which was the reason for our visit. But no one is to blame for that!

Atly & Jlian's was a perfect place and base for an interior alaska exploration. close enough to the facilities and resources of Fairbanks, but far enough out to be "in the woods". Dark skies for seeing the stars or aurora.
the cabin is even better than in the pictures, especially the bedrooms. The kitchen is well provisioned with spices, utensils, pots, pans, dishware etc.
Atly and Jilian are very responsive and proactive, and very friendly, but stay out of your way unless you engage.

This was a great place to stay while in Fairbanks. We found it very clean from top to bottom. The hosts were super responsive, kind, and proactive, as appropriate. Check-in and -out were a breeze. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to stay here again.
